1. The Times Archive: This archive begins Aug. 1, 1998, and is updated each day as content from The Dispatch, The Rock Island Argus, The Leader, and other associated publications is moved online. For the period Aug. 1, 1998 through Jan. 1, 2004, a small percentage of stories is missing. Beginning Jan. 1, 2004, all content from the papers is included.
Users of the MyWebTimes.com Archive should note that the "view by month/day" feature may show stories as appearing on some day other than the one in which they appeared in the papers. For example, the stories that appear in the Dec. 31 paper may be in the archives for Dec. 30, since stories occasionally are moved online before they appear in the paper. There may a few other discrepancies between the date a story was moved online and the date it appeared in print.
The archives are available only to members of MyWebTimes.com, to subscribers to the newspapers, and to Web News customers. Web News customers gain access to the archives, plus the daily local news report, for only $50 a year. For more information, click here.
