Information needed for internet programs

Many Internet programs will ask you for information about your online connection as part of their configurations. Not all programs need every bit of information provided here, but this way you have it when needed.

Online access number

(815) 433-9000 - Ottawa access number at 56k connect speeds

(815) 673-4011 - Streator access number at 56k connect speeds

DNS (Domain Name Server)

Primary DNS: 204.176.110.106

Secondary DNS: 64.4.170.107

Incoming and outgoing mail servers (POP3 and SMTP)

Both should be set to mail.mywebtimes.com.

POP3 username and password

Your username will be your entire email address. The password for email access is the same as the password for dialing up to get online.

Email address

YOUR-USER-NAME@mywebtimes.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created.

IP address

MyWebTimes uses server assigned (dynamic) IP. It is set automatically for you each time you dial in.

News (USENET) server

news.alterdial.uu.net
