Visit Camp Tuckabatchee 2009 Events for information on the camp, quilting events, tours and more. Camp Tuckabatchee is located 90 miles west of Chicago on Route 80 North of Ottawa, IL, on Route 23. Camp covers 150 acres of wooded hills and valleys with trails running throughout. There are rustic cabins for sleeping in the main camp area. The main lodge features a dinning area with a huge stone hearth and modern kitchen. Volc Lodge provides year round camping with indoor restrooms, 2 fire places, furnace, and kitchen. Crooked Leg Creek provides a natural play area and lulls campers to sleep at night. In addition to the summer youth camp program, the camp is available for use by organizations, clubs, church groups and private groups.

Leland's Fireworks and Concert 7:30pm Leland's School Grounds. Leland Town and Country Association FREE. Celebrate the 4th with a bang. Leland is going to have the biggest fireworks show in the area. S&N Fireworks will be lighting the fuses and filling the skies with displays of color. The fun gets started at 7:30pm with a Dixie Land Band. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the south end of the Leland school grounds.

Seneca's Farmer's Market Saturdays June-August 8-11, Main St. If you would like to sell produce or flowers from your garden, if you are a crafter and have handmade products, or make pies, cakes, preserves and would like to sell these items, fill out a form at Seneca's City Hall or call 815-357-8188 for more information. $5 will reserve a spot for June 6th or $60 for season.

July 1 through July 5, 2009: Streator's annual Fourth of July celebration includes a carnival in the City Park, lip sync contests, food vendors and a parade with the highlight of the festivities being the awesome Fireworks display on Saturday, July 4th at the Streator High School Athletic Field.
