Bills for the "local services tax" on mobile homes were mailed Friday and are due Tuesday, May 11, said La Salle County Treasurer Don Lamps.

If not paid on time, state law requires a $25 per month late fee be charged each month the payment is delinquent.

Payments should be made payable to "La Salle County Collector." They may be mailed or delivered to the treasurer's office at 707 E. Etna Road, Ottawa, IL 61350. They also may be deposited in the 24-hour drop box in the east parking lot of the La Salle County Governmental Center at 707 E. Etna Road, Ottawa.
