MSNBC science editor to speak on Pluto in Streator Friday

Alan Boyle, MSNBC science editor and author, will speak on "The Case for Pluto" at 7 p.m. Friday, March 12, at Streator City Hall.

He will speak throughout the day to Streator grade school and high school students. The City Hall session is free and public. Boyle will be available for a book signing prior to and after the session.

This event commemorates the 80th anniversary of the discovery of the planet Pluto by Streator native Clyde Tombaugh. It is sponsored by Streator Tourism.
