Marseilles
  • Deborah J. Whalen, 57, Marseilles, was arrested Friday at Orange and Bluff streets on complaints of driving under the influence and improper lane usage. She posted bond.
  • Michael D. Wise, 28, Ottawa, was arrested Sunday on Commercial Street on complaints of driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage and no insurance.
Ottawa
  • Kaitlyn M. Elko, 18, 1918 Champlain St., was arrested Monday morning in the 1900 block of Champlain Street on complaints of driving under the influence, speeding and disobeying a traffic control device. She was taken to the county jail.
  • Levi Ford, 20, 3866 East 1750th Road, Freedom Township, was arrested Sunday at Stevenson Road and Route 23 on a complaint of driving while license suspended. He posted $100 bond.
  • Thomas D. Wyatt, 81, rural Ottawa, was cited on a complaint of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his car hit a car driven by Danny T. Henry, 51, Streator. The crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. Friday at Route 23 and Hitt Street.

  • Roger A. McCumsey, 69, Fornof Manor, 606 E. Morrell St., Unit 511, was cited at 8:28 a.m. Saturday at Fornof Manor on a complaint of disorderly conduct in connection with an incident Jan. 10 at Fornof Manor.
  • Cody L. Dunning, 20, 1016 E. Wilson St., was cited at 12:45 a.m. Saturday at BP Amoco, 602 E. Main St., on complaints of possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
  • A 17-year-old Streator boy was cited at 7:34 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Everett Street on a complaint of possession of marijuana.
  • Jesse J. Davis, 41, 215 S. Colorado Ave., was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop at Shabbona and Main streets on complaints of possession of marijuana and obstructing police. Jesse J. Davis Jr., 22, of the same address, was arrested on a civil court warrant and was cited on a complaint of driving while registration expired. Their vehicle was towed.
  • A woman reported Saturday afternoon a window was broken on her car between 1 and 3:50 p.m. Saturday while it was parked in the 100 block of East Main Street.
Sheridan
  • Jeffrey J. Peterson, 25, of Batavia, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Sunday at Bushnell and Burlington streets on an Aurora Police Department warrant on a charge of driving while license suspended. Peterson was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a moving violation. Peterson posted $300 bond.
Sandwich
  • Paul W. Hallenbeck, 34, 609 Lisbon St., was arrested Sunday at his home. Police said they went there in response to a report of a domestic altercation, then found Hallenbeck was wanted on warrants from several jurisdictions. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Somonauk
  • Andrew W. Hodorowski, 58, 511 Holiday Drive, Lake Holiday subdivision, was arrested Wednesday on Gage Street south of Geraldine Court on complaints of driving under the influence, improper lane usage, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodorowski posted bond.
  • Kathryn M. Cortes, 45, 902 S. Center St., Plano, was arrested Thursday at Market Street and Somonauk Road on complaints of driving under the influence, no insurance and no rear registration light. Cortes posted bond.
Fire Calls
  • Ottawa firefighters went at 10:04 p.m. Sunday to 514 Marcy Street for a report of a gas smell, but they found nothing.
  • Ottawa firefighters went at 2:50 p.m. Sunday to Dougherty Manor, 900 Paul St., where cooking had set off an alarm.
