The paintings of Jesus Christ displayed every December at Washington Square in Ottawa will be placed Saturday, Dec. 5.
The public is invited to help. Food and a video by Dan Hennenfent will be viewed showing the history of the paintings at 6:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 114 E. Jefferson St. At 8 a.m. the Ottawa Christian Men's Group will proceed to Washington Square to erect 16 paintings depicting the life of Jesus Christ. At 10 a.m., they will go to the south bluff to place the Christmas star at the Cora J. Pope home.
