"Wind Energy 101; From a Landowner's Perspective,"will be offered from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Livingston County Extension Office, 1412 S. Locust St., Pontiac.

The workshop, coordinated by the University of Illinois Extension and Illinois Wind Working Group, is designed to help landowners and community officials make informed decisions about wind energy developments.

The early registration deadline is Friday, Dec. 4, and the fee is $20. Late registration and at-the-door is $25 based on available space.
