La Salle County - Four drivers reported hitting deer Thursday on La Salle County roads. The locations were in Vermillion, Deer Park, Otter Creek and South Ottawa townships. No one was hurt.
Streator - A man reported at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday his tires were damaged in the 1400 block of East Broadway Street.
- Police were told at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday that tires on two vehicles were damaged in the 1100 block of South Otter Creek Street.
Ottawa Sheridan - Ramon Gonzalez, 25, Sandwich, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson and Pleasant streets on complaints of driving while license revoked and illegal transportation of alcohol. He posted $100 bond. His passenger, Jacob C. Byro, 29, Oswego, was arrested on a complaint of illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger and on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended. Byro posted $200 bond.
Fire Calls - Ottawa firefighters went to the La Salle County government complex at 707 E. Etna Road to clear the odor caused by a burned microwave dinner.
- Streator firefighters went at 6:34 a.m. Friday to 205 Goulding St. for a vehicle fire. The vehicle's owner had recently done electrical work on it.
