Daughter, Leah Renee, to Brandon and Emily Norris of Ottawa Oct. 28 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Leah weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She was welcomed home by Luke Ryan, 2. Grandparents are Dale and Jenny Zolper of Mendota and Marianne and Jim Lippold and Tom and Anita Norris, all of Ottawa. Great-grandparents are Edmund Engels of Mendota and Theresa Ekdahl and Tom and Mary Norris, all of Ottawa.

Daughter, Ava Rose, to Gary and Angela Leiteritz of Marseilles Oct. 28 at Morris Hospital. Ava weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was welcomed home by Austin, 7. Grandparents are Ron and Karen Leiteritz of Ottawa and Gary and Patty Budach of Marsielles. Great-grandmother is Edith McEmery of Ottawa.

SMICK

Daughter, Dixie Ann, to Amy Smick of Peru, Oct. 28 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital. Dixie weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Ron and Pattie Smick of Ottawa. Great-grandparents are Betty Lieske of Ottawa and the late Clarence Lieske and Bud and Alice Smick.

Daughter, Harmony Reese, to David and Sally (Connor) Pence, Oct. 17 at St. Mary's Hospital. Harmony weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
