OTTAWA — Reddick Library"s Wednesday Evening Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 to discuss "Palace Walk" by Naguib Mahfouz.

The group will meet Tuesday at the library annex, 401 W. Washington St., since the library is closed in observance of Veterans Day Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The first volume in Mahfouz' Cairo Trilogy, "Palace Walk" looks into the lives of the family of a merchant who forces his family to follow strict religious rules while he follows his desires, sampling the nightlife of the city.
