Ottawa - Edward P. Kazirskis, 24, 517 E. Marquette St., was arrested Wednesday at Farm & Fleet, 4140 Columbus St., on a complaint of retail theft. He posted bond and was released.
Marseilles - Leeann A. Reichel, 30, Bloomingdale, was arrested Thursday in the 200 block of Clair Street on a complaint of driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and operating vehicle with expired registration.
La Salle County - Steven M. Tipton, 27, 360 N. 2629th Road, was arrested Monday on a civil writ after a traffic stop at Fourth Avenue and Seventh Street in Mendota. Tipton was taken to La Salle County Jail.
- Sidney E. Kaiser, 19, 605 1/2 12th Ave., Mendota, Richard L. Huls, 19, 3892 E. Seventh Road, Mendota, and Cori D. Bator, 18, 791 N. 36th Road, Utica, were charged Monday at U.S. 34 and Route 251 on a complaint of illegal consumption by a minor. They were given a notice to appear.
- Stacey J. Panzica, 24, 133 Creve Coeur, La Salle, was involved in a car-deer accident Wednesday at Route 71 near Ottawa Canyon. No injuries were reported.
Sandwich - Joshua T. Kappes, 20, Melrose Park, was arrested Wednesday in the 700 block of North Main Street on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear for violation of a court order. He posted bond and was given a court date.
Fire - Streator firefighters responded at 2:24 a.m. Thursday to a car fire at 808 N. Everett St.
