To all who have anything to do with raising taxes on us citizens:

I am sick and tired of you raising taxes. If you cannot keep your budgets under control, do like we do: do without.

The federal government as well as the Illinois state government is totally out of control. It doesn't stop them from giving themselves automatic pay raises at our expense. In my opinion, they are making more than they deserve. Our city government just wants to raise taxes to their liking as they go to the limit as they say that they have to, but will bring down if they can.

Our school boards are totally out of control. They don't need it if they cannot afford it. By the way, teachers, how about your pay? For nine months you have to teach while we work year round, more hours a day than you do and a lot of us earn less than you do!

There has to be a stop to it and real fast. Does the government want all of us to lose our houses and go on state aid?

How about all of the companies going overseas where they pay slave wages? Any imports should be taxed at minimum wage. For example, China pays perhaps $2 per hour. All things coming to us should be checked against an invoice on how long it took to make, what hourly wage the employees got paid and take it from there. We heard Indiana loves Illinois, as they are getting a lot of Illinois businesses relocating there because of our state government.

I believe the president and Congress want to keep wars going on as our service people are getting paid, and if they did come home there would be no jobs for them. Disgusted, yes I am.
