OTTAWA MEN

Timm Downey flipped 11 in a row for a 296 game and then added 257 to finish up with a fine 739 series. Todd Smith rolled 267 on the way to 691, and Mike Brockhum was his usual self with 267-643.

Mark Larson did it again with 247-632. Corwin Brown used 244 to register 618 and Jeff Schinzel flipped 246 on the way to 610.

Action at Bowl-Rite Lanes saw Matt DeMoss lead the way with 254-679. That was followed by Craig Hepner with 226-233-676, and Todd Smith was on target with 254-674.

Robert Pobanz tossed 666 with 227 and 226. Matt DeMoss continues to shine with 246-233-658, and Craig Hetelle came on strong with 243-654. Tim Frederick was right there with 256-645.

Bernie Downey was his usual self with 265-641. Troy Behning was good for 237-639, Bill Medler came through with 233-632 and Scott Kratz flipped 245-604.

Len Thomas rolled a 629 series.

OTTAWA WOMEN

Jenny Farrell tossed a 521 series at Dettore's Town Lanes.

Susie Denen was the one at Dettore's West with a fine 210-554. Audrey Heiss was a force with 212-540 and Angie Larson also tossed 212 on the way to 521.

DeDe Purcell held the hot hand at Bowl-Rite Lanes with 267-203-218-688. Kathy Long and Joyce Thomas shared 554s with Kathy shooting 227 and Joyce 202.

Sharon Brandt had two fine outings with 544 and 530. Stacey Bailey did it again with 529, Chandra Baxter's 204 put her at 520 and Annie Norsen flipped 202 on the way to 511.

Good gamers included Eva Hall (224) and Christine Sibert (207).

YOUTH BOWLING

The kids in Dettore's West Pee Wee League shot well, led by Bryce Phelps with 126-222. Zachary Barth had a 102 game, while Matthew Scaman produced a 191 game.

Billy McGeorge had a stellar 202-585.

On the girls side it was Brisa Cuevas at 89-167 and Zoey Mosell at 67-116. Chelsae Herold tallied 162-436, 180, 500 and a 396 series.

Junior Leaguers were paced by Billy McGeorge (210-510), Blake Henry (209-541) and Cheyenne Harris (186 game).

Action at Bowl-Rite Lanes in the Friday Junior League saw Brooklyn Terando toss a 316 series. Caylee Russell was good for a 128 game and A. J. Angelico had a fine outing with 179-442 and also 196-555.

Saturday Morning Junior 2 leaders were Alexis Fuentes (113-295), Katie Norsen (295 series) and Michael Snyder (100-276). Topping the Saturday Afternoon Majors were Ashleigh Newmarker (107-454), and Jim Hettel (244-204-217-665 and 205-560). Good shooting, Jim.

Jason Stillwell fired 226-545 and Tony Downey a 515 series.
