Weldon "Oggie" and Shirley (Ainsley) Oetken of Marseilles will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 22, 1958, at Christ Episcopal Church in Ottawa.

The wedding party included Wanda (Oetken) Danich, Kay Ainsley, Mary Ganz Harmon, Debbie Egan, flower girl; Gerald Beck and Harry Voight and the late Marilyn Ainsley, Darwin Anderson and William Kelliher, best man.

Parents of the couple are the late Paul and May Ainsley and the late Malcolm and Lucille Oetken.

An open house will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at the couple's home.
