SK1 Sean Foster was recently promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class. In this photo Sean is accepting his command from Captain Paul Severs, Commander, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 50. Foster joined the Navy in April 2000 and is serving his third tour in the Persian Gulf region in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He is the son of Kevin and Julianne Foster of Marseilles and is married to Tiffany (Polach) of Ottawa. They have one son.
