It was sponsored by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis-Education and Research Foundation. The presentations dealt with medical hypnotic induction, self-hypnosis and strategies for pain management, hypnosis in the treatment of cancer and irritable bowel syndrome, and hypnotic interventions in dentistry. The workshop was held Sept. 7 to 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg. |
