LISLE -- The Plano Reapers opened the season in dominating fashion Friday night with a 42-0 Interstate Eight Conference road victory over the Lisle Lions.

Plano raced out to a 21-0 lead after one quarter getting tocuhdowns from Nick Nasti (seven-yard run), Brian Green (57-yard punt return) and Jared Ferguson (six-yard run).

In the second quarter, Ferguson scored his second touchdown this time from four yards out to make it 28-0 at the half.

The Reapers tallied two more touchdowns in the third quarter by Josh O'Hara (14-yard interception return) and Josh Wright (nine-yard run) to put the running clack into effect at the 4:15 mark.

Plano finished with 267 yards rushing, with 103 (on 13 carries, one touchdown) of those coming from Nasti and 79 (on nine carries, one touchdown) by Ferguson.

The Reapers' defense limited Lisle to just 49 yards of total offense. O'Hara led the way defensively with two interceptions.

In other I-8 action, Manteno defeated Dwight 41-14, Reed-Custer beat Wilmington 31-6 and Westmont defeated Peotone 20-16.
